A VPN created by Kaspersky Lab – that’s the shortest answer I'd give you if you were to ask me "what is Kaspersky Secure Connection?" It encrypts your internet connection to protect your data from would-be snoopers, it hides your IP address to protect your privacy, and it lets you access websites that would normally say "not available in your region." So if you want to protect your data and your privacy when you’re online, you need a VPN application such as Kaspersky Secure Connection.

The system requirements for running Kaspersky Secure Connection are very low: 1GHz processor or better; at least 1GB of RAM for 32-bit systems, 2GB of RAM for 64-bit systems; 75MB of free storage space; any Windows edition from Windows XP up to Windows 10 (32- and 64-bit versions are supported). A straightforward setup wizard will help you install Kaspersky Secure Connection on a PC that meets these system requirements.

A "Learn More" prompt will show up by default the very first time you run Kaspersky Secure Connection. Go over it and you will uncover the two main reasons why you should use a VPN:
1. Surf the internet on an encrypted, secure connection that protects your data against snoopers. No one can see what you do online!
2. Hide your real location and fool websites that are blocked in your region. If you connect to a VPN server located in Germany for example, you’ll trick websites into thinking that you’re from Germany.

Kaspersky Secure Connection is available as a Free and as a paid Premium version. The Free version offers 200MB of data per day (up to 6GB per month) and automatically connects to a VPN server (you can’t manually connect to a server). The paid Premium version offers unlimited data, lets you connect to any VPN server you want to, and it can be used on up to 5 devices. To get the paid Premium version, you must choose between a monthly or a yearly subscription.

Anyone could be snooping on you when you’re online, especially when you’re using public Wi-Fi. You need a VPN application like Kaspersky Secure Connection to protect your privacy and your data when you're online.

Pros

The system requirements are incredibly low and installing Kaspersky Secure Connection will take little time and effort. Surf the web using an encrypted connection that protects against snoopers. Automatically connect to a VPN server or manually connect to the VPN server of your choice. Kaspersky Secure Connection is available as a Free and as a paid Premium version.

Cons

None that I could think of.
